Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Float Pool (NICU/PICU/Peds) on the night shift. This role supports CHoNJ pediatric services within RWJBarnabas Health and offers competitive hourly pay.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document in EPIC, collaborate with physicians, educate families, and participate in rounds. NJ RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Emergency room nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Serve as clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
