Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Float Pool (NICU/PICU/Peds) in New Jersey. The night shift offers hourly pay with a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, patient-centered environment.

As an RN, you will conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and care teams. You will educate families, document in EPIC, and participate in rounds, aiming for safe, high-quality transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active New Jersey RN license in good standing and BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Prior patient care experience, ideally ER nursing.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR software.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Partner with physicians and healthcare teams for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to prepare for next steps.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record for continuity.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and team communication.
• Engage in a collaborative environment supporting long-term career progression.
