Job summary

Lowcountry Therapy Group is seeking a compassionate, organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our pediatric therapy team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and families, coordinating scheduling, intake, insurance verification, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrates excellent communication with families and therapists.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in an administrative or receptionist role.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to work evenings until 6:30pm, potential for Fridays off.
• Scheduling experience in a medical environment is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to optimize therapist schedules.
• Coordinate new patient intake and maintain accurate records.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Answer calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly.
• Process patient payments and maintain financial records.
• Communicate with therapists, families, and team members regarding scheduling and patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support daily operations.
