Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in New York City area seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role includes conducting assessments for children with ASD, designing intervention plans, and supervising therapists with data-driven program changes.

Travel to various cases and direct supervision are involved. The position requires a Master’s in a relevant field and BCBA/LBA certification, plus at least one year of supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for ABA and working with children, families, and therapists.
• Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, or Psychology.
• BCBA and LBA REQUIRED.
• Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision.
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and work with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases with feedback.
• Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists.
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes; ensure progress generalization.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA and state/federal regulations).
• Ensure programs are socially significant, functional, and lead to independence and happiness.
