Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director for PEPI - CFO Services to work with private equity–held portfolio companies. The role focuses on improving liquidity, analytics, planning, and performance management, with hands-on involvement in operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university with concentration in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client interviews and facilitate information gathering.
• Develop analyses to prove or disprove assumptions and ensure timely execution.
• Lead workstreams independently across multiple service lines.
• Design cash-generating initiatives and EBITDA improvement plans.
• Engage senior management and obtain buy‑in from board members on actionable plans.
