Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a PEPI CFO Services - Manager to lead data collection, analysis, and strategic financial planning for private equity portfolio companies. You will guide client interviews, forecast liquidity needs, and identify improvements in accounting processes to drive value creation.

Candidate should have 7–10 years in accounting/finance, strong financial modeling, and preferred CPA/CFA or Master’s degree.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university with concentration in accounting, finance or economics (preferred but not required).
7–10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
Proficient financial models, data analytics programs, and presentation skills.
CPA, CFA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Guide team members in information gathering and ensure sources are pursued.
Lead client interviews, ask questions, and understand stakeholder perspectives.
Identify knowledge gaps and develop better assumptions.
Forecast liquidity needs and assess accounting processes for inefficiencies.
Present issues and opportunities clearly and concisely.
Understand accounting and finance processes and how data consolidates into the general ledger.
