Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's PEPI CFO Services team is seeking a Manager to lead financial due diligence, restructuring and performance improvement projects for private equity portfolio companies. You will collect data, validate findings and present actionable insights to clients and senior management.

The role emphasizes business transformation, liquidity assessment and cross‑functional collaboration with accounting, finance and operations to deliver measurable cash and EBITDA improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited 4-year college / university with concentration in accounting, finance or economics preferred but not required.
• 7-10 years of experience related to Accounting / Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• CPA, CFA or Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide data collection, validation and analysis across information sources.
• Lead client interviews, ask questions, understand stakeholder perspectives and articulate findings.
• Identify knowledge gaps, challenge status quo and develop better assumptions.
• Forecast liquidity needs and identify inefficiencies in accounting/finance processes.
• Present issues and opportunities clearly to client leadership and board members.
• Understand how data flows into the general ledger to drive improvement and value creation.
