Alvarez & Marsal's PEPI - CFO Services seeks a Director to work with private equity portfolio companies, delivering hands‑on finance leadership to preserve and generate value. You’ll focus on improving cash flow and EBITDA, with credible plans and executable results across financial reporting and operations.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, guide analyses, and design actionable cash‑generating initiatives, aiming to drive portfolio performance and strategic transformation for client firms.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited four-year college with accounting/finance focus.
• Over 12 years in Accounting/Finance, Due Diligence, Restructuring, IB or PE.
• Proficient in financial modeling, data analytics and presenting insights.
• CPA/CFA/MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Connect with client to facilitate information gathering.
• Guide client interviews and ensure relevant data are considered.
• Define analyses needed to prove or disprove assumptions and ensure timely execution.
• Apply industry knowledge to identify business drivers and issues.
• Understand and develop framework given project parameters.
• Develop actionable conclusions from analyses.
• Lead components of projects with multiple service lines; manage risks.
• Design cash generating initiatives and EBITDA improvement plans.
• Anticipate risks and communicate with client; obtain buy‑in from senior management.
