Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a PEPI - CFO Services Director to work with private equity portfolio companies, delivering accounting and financial reporting guidance across transactions and events. You will leverage deep GAAP knowledge to support pre/post-deal reporting and drive value creation.

The role emphasizes leadership in data collection, process improvement, and advisory services with potential involvement in IPO readiness and capital management.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of relevant work experience in both public accounting and industry
• CPA certification highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP and advise on complex accounting guidance
• Prepare and review pre- and post-deal financial reporting to meet regulatory requirements
• Lead IPO readiness efforts including SEC reporting support
• Drive working capital optimization and liquidity management
• Provide advisory services and interim management as needed
