Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal’s PEPI CFO Services team seeks a Manager to work with private equity portfolio companies, delivering insights to boost cash flow, EBITDA, and overall performance. You will lead data collection, validate information, and guide client interviews to uncover opportunities for value creation.

You will manage workstreams across analytics, planning, and leadership, building financial models, driving process improvements, and communicating findings to senior management and boards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university in accounting, finance or economics preferred but not required.
• 7–10 years of experience related to Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
• CPA, CFA, or Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient financial models, data analytics programs, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide team members in information gathering approach and ensure all sources are pursued.
• Guide and lead client interviews, ask inquisitive questions and understand different stakeholders’ perspective.
• Identify knowledge gaps, guide the team to challenge status quo, validate, disprove and/or develop better assumptions.
• Identify key business challenges, forecast liquidity needs, pinpoint process inefficiencies and assess organization design.
• Ensure issues and opportunities are clearly and concisely presented.
• Understand accounting and finance process flows and how information is consolidated into the general ledger to improve value creation.
