Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, night-shift position in Great Falls, Montana. The role is on-site in a supportive clinical environment with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and strong teamwork.

The PCU RN will care for hemodynamically stable and unstable patients, manage post-PCI and complex surgical cases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana or compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS are required (EPNC and TNCC preferred).
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with Critical Care or PCU/Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to stable or predictably unstable PCU patients.
• Care for diverse patient population including post-PCI, pacemakers, revascularization, and complex surgeries.
• Monitor for deterioration using assessment tools and intervene promptly.
• Operate and manage arterial and venous lines, chest tubes, NGTs, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Act as a clinical floor leader, precepting staff and guiding CNAs and RNs.
