Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site night shift in Great Falls, Montana.

You will provide specialized nursing care on a stepdown unit with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and strong administrative support. The role emphasizes teamwork, evidence-based practice, and compassionate patient care, including PCI post-care, telemetry, and critical care monitoring.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or endorsements).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for hemodynamically stable or stepdown patients.
• Manage pre/post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor for deterioration and respond promptly with interventions.
• Operate arterial/central lines and short-term ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge.
• Serve as a clinical leader and precept new staff.
