Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Great Falls, MT, is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site night-shift role. This position supports a high-quality inpatient team with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and strong administrative backing.

You will provide specialized nursing care for hemodynamically stable or unstable patients, manage post-procedural care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Montana RN license or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and PALS certifications required or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients on an advanced medical/surgical unit.
• Manage diverse patient population including post-procedural and complex cases.
• Monitor for deterioration using telemetry and intervene as needed.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment such as arterial lines and chest tubes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Precept and provide guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
