Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join a dedicated inpatient team in Great Falls, Montana.

This full-time, on-site RN role focuses on high-quality patient care with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and collaborative clinical support. The ideal candidate has ADN with Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and recent PCU/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program with ADN; BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN license or endorsement; compact eligibility helpful.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to hemodynamically stable patients on a PCU/stepdown unit.
• Manage pre/post-PCI care, devices, and complex post-op patients.
• Monitor for deterioration using telemetry and intervene as needed.
• Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, and IV equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge.
• Precept and support LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
