Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site night shift in Great Falls, Montana. You will provide direct care for hemodynamically stable and unstable patients on a stepdown unit with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and robust teamwork.

The role requires ADN with MT RN licensure (BSN preferred), BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and recent PCU/ICU experience; pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN license or eligibility for compact/endorsement.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months). EPNC and TNCC certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on a PCU/stepdown unit.
• Manage a broad patient population including pre/post-PCI care, pacemaker placements, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, sepsis and complex surgical cases.
• Utilize assessment tools to monitor for deterioration and stabilize conditions.
• Operate advanced medical equipment including arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, IV pumps, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Act as a clinical floor leader, precepting new staff and supporting LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary teams.
