Top Echelon Software, LLC. partnered with a regional healthcare system to secure a full-time, on-site Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN in Great Falls, MT, for night shifts.

This role emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, teamwork, and strong administrative support. The RN will work in a PCU/stepdown unit, providing specialized care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring LPNs and CNAs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Montana RN license in good standing (or immediate endorsement).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months). EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical experience in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/PCU exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for hemodynamically stable or unstable PCU patients on an advanced unit.
• Care for a diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care and complex surgeries.
• Monitor for deterioration and intervene promptly using telemetry and equipment.
• Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, IV pumps, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
