Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide basic personal and supportive care to clients in their homes. You will follow care plans and assist with bathing, grooming, ambulation, and meal preparation, including special diets.

Mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs will be used as part of daily care. The role requires maintaining safety and privacy, completing EVV/timesheets, and reporting any safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Job description

The aide must complete daily tasks via electronic visit verification (EVV) or time sheets, promote client self-help, and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and at least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.

Skills required are adherence to safety and infection control procedures, confidentiality, and the ability to recognize client limitations.

Assist with medication management only through supervision, and report any concerns about client safety, abuse, or neglect immediately.

This position reports to the Home Care Manager and staffing supervisor, with accountability for delivering quality care within the scope of practice.
