Responsibilities

  • Follow client care plans accurately.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility using designated equipment.
  • Encourage client independence.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or environment.
  • Administer medications only through self-administration support, not direct administration.
  • Maintain safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
  • Report abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Job description

Role: Personal Care Aide responsible for providing in-home client care, following care plans, and supporting clients' self-help activities.
Responsibilities include: assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral care), mobility support, meal preparation (including special diets), light housekeeping tasks, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. Aides must complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets, adhere to safety and infection control protocols, and respect client confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications: High school diploma preferred, with at least 6 months of validated caregiving experience. Must be at least 18 years old and capable of reading and writing.
