Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide in-home caregiving services to clients. The role follows each client’s care plan and completes daily tasks using EVV or electronic timesheets.

You will assist with personal care, monitor client conditions, and ensure safety and privacy while delivering respectful care within scope of practice. Requires 6 months of caregiving experience, strong communication, and a minimum age of 18.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write.
  • Minimum 6 months caregiving experience verified through references.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Strong communication, safety awareness, and adherence to policies.

Job description

  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
  • Ensuring safety, adhering to universal precautions, infection control, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
  • Performing secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep, respecting client confidentiality and privacy.
  • Monitoring client condition, reporting changes, and notifying supervisors of safety concerns or issues like abuse or neglect.
  • Assisting with self-administration of medications (without administering), and providing quality, respectful care within scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write.
  • Minimum 6 months caregiving experience verified through references.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Strong communication, safety awareness, and adherence to policies.

Note: All accountabilities are to the Home Care Manager and staffing supervisor. This role emphasizes client-centered care, safety, confidentiality, and compliance with policies.
