Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, follow care plans, and perform basic personal care tasks.
• Strong communication skills, attention to safety, and adherence to policies are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal prep, feeding, oral hygiene, and transfer assistance using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols, ensure a clean and safe environment, and respect client confidentiality and privacy.
• Notify supervisors of any changes in client condition or safety concerns, and report any abuse, neglect, or privacy violations immediately.
• Assist with secondary tasks such as laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation, within scope of practice.
• Only assist with medication self-administration, never administer medications directly.
