Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide essential in-home care services under the supervision of the Home Care Manager. You will assist with daily living tasks per care plans and maintain client safety and privacy.

Responsibilities include following care plans, helping with bathing, grooming, meal prep, mobility support, and reporting changes to supervisors. The role requires at least 6 months of caregiving experience, 18+ years old, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication, adherence to safety standards, and ability to follow care plans.

• Assist with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation, feeding, and oral hygiene.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, notify supervisors of any hazards or changes in client condition.
• Support clients with self-help activities, encourage independence, and assist with limited transfers and use of equipment.
• Only assist with medication self-administration, never administer medications directly.
• Report any abuse, neglect, unsafe environments, or privacy violations immediately.
