Job summary

DayToDay Health in Farmville, NC seeks a Personal Care Aide to provide in-home caregiving services. You will follow each client's care plan, perform daily tasks via EVV, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires ability to read and write, a High school diploma, and at least 6 months of caregiving experience. You will collaborate with a Home Care Manager and supervisor to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and capable of reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Follow the client's aide plan and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, ambulating, meals, feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers using walkers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and a clean environment, while respecting client confidentiality and privacy.
• Encourage client self-help and monitoring; report concerns or unusual changes to the supervisor.
• Perform secondary tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep if specified in the care plan.
• Assist with medication self-administration (not administering medications) and adhere to scope of practice.
