Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, with the ability to read and write.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Following client care plans and completing daily tasks via electronic systems.
• Assisting with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation (including special diets), and assisting with feeding.
• Utilizing mobility aids like walkers and wheelchairs, and ensuring safety precautions are followed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe environment and reporting any safety concerns or changes in client condition.
• Respecting client privacy and confidentiality, and providing quality care within scope of practice.
• Assisting with secondary tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, and grocery shopping as needed.
• Monitoring client well-being, notifying supervisors of any issues, and reporting suspected abuse or neglect.
• Assisting with medication self-administration but not administering medications directly.
