Job summary

Insight Global in Virginia is seeking a PC Refresh Technician for a project supporting state agencies across Richmond and the surrounding region. You will travel to executive branch locations to transfer data between machines, reinstall applications, and troubleshoot hardware, following established procedures.

The position begins with a 2–4 week onsite training period shadowing current technicians before working independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Virginia driver's license.
• Customer service oriented.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experience with desktop/laptop systems.
• Familiarity with Windows 10 & 11.

Insight global is seeking a PC Refresh Technician for a project supporting the State agencies of Virginia. This Refresh Technician will be responsible for traveling to all executive branch agency locations across Richmond, VA and surrounding region. Day to day responsibilities include transferring data from one machine to another, reinstalling applications, troubleshooting, and following procedures. There is no imaging. We are seeking entry-level candidates who are flexible with work hours/locations and have a reliable source of transportation. This resource will start with a 2-4 week training (shadowing current technicians onsite) before beginning to work independently.

Pay rate between 20 - 27/hr based on experience
