Job summary

Patz Corporation is seeking an IT Specialist to maintain, develop and support our computer network hardware and software in a demanding manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage Windows and MacOS systems, and upgrade applications and hardware while following established procedures and supervisor instructions.

The role requires 1+ years of experience in a corporate IT setting, familiarity with ERP software, Microsoft 365, and SolidWorks is a plus.

Qualifications

Associates degree in computer science; B.S. degree preferred.
1+ years experience supporting Windows & Mac operating systems in a corporate environment; hands-on preferred.
Help Desk experience acceptable but hands-on preferred.
Experience with ERP software, Microsoft 365, and SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain, develop, upgrade and support network hardware & software.
Investigate and locate computing & networking errors and revise systems to correct errors or improve techniques.
Report issues concerning equipment downtime, service, and repair.
Manage Windows, MacOS, and Windows servers.
Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware.
Troubleshooting PC hardware/software and providing technical support to employees.
Maintaining networks and network file systems.
Train and assist users in the use of software.
Perform all duties as assigned by the Information Technology Manager.
