Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Network Technician to support daily IT operations in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on Windows-based workstations, networking gear, and end-user support across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certs preferred.
• 1–3 years IT support experience, manufacturing a plus.
• Strong Windows, AD and basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and manufacturing PCs in an all-Windows environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot local network infrastructure (switches, APs, cabling, basic firewall).
• Install, configure, and update Windows OS, drivers, and approved apps.
• Monitor system performance and identify issues proactively.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies per IT standards.
• Handle IT support tickets with timely troubleshooting and documented resolutions.
• Ensure inventory management of IT hardware and accessories.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and configurations.
• Uphold security best practices (patching, antivirus, IT policies).
