Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a dependable Network Technician / IT Support specialist to maintain site-level IT operations in a small manufacturing setting. You will support Windows-based systems, networking equipment, and end-user hardware across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+).
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or related technical role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and manufacturing PCs in an all-Windows environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot local network infrastructure, including switches, access points, cabling, and basic firewall troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and update Windows OS, drivers, and approved applications.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies following IT standards.
• Manage incoming IT support tickets by responding promptly, troubleshooting issues, and documenting resolution steps.
• Ensure proper inventory management of IT hardware and accessories.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
