Job summary

Wincore-Windows- is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to install, maintain and support computer hardware, software, printers, barcode scanners, and the IP phone system across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires diagnosing issues quickly, working independently or in a team, and delivering effective customer-focused service while coordinating with IT and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree or technical degree with certifications and experience equivalent to a bachelor's preferred.
• Experience supporting IT equipment and business software in a fast-paced environment, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair hardware, software, and peripherals per design specifications.
• Set up equipment for employee use including cabling, OS, software and peripherals.
• Maintain records of daily activities, problems and remedial actions.
• Provide technical assistance and support; answer inquiries about hardware/software operation.
• Develop training materials and procedures; train users on hardware/software usage.
• Refer major hardware or software problems to vendors for service.
• Support manufacturing floor IT equipment including integrations with manufacturing equipment.
