Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first-level technical assistance for employees using Windows and Mac devices, printers, and collaboration tools. You’ll handle onboarding, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to keep productivity high across all office locations.

You will support conference room technology, security practices, and incident documentation, while collaborating with the IT team.

Qualifications

One or more years of help desk or desktop support experience
Experience with Windows and Mac OS and Microsoft 365
Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot PCs, mobile devices, printers
Knowledge of basic networking (Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Willingness to travel to other office locations

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support in person, by phone, or via ticketing/remoting tools
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain PCs, mobile devices, printers, and software
Support conference room tech and collaboration tools
Assist with onboarding/offboarding and device deployment
Escalate complex issues and coordinate with IT team for resolution
Maintain asset inventory and security best practices
Stay current with supported hardware and software
