Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions, based in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist to lead the payroll tax program on site.

The role focuses on developing tax strategy, managing reporting, and guiding a team of Supervisors and staff to ensure timely, accurate tax filings across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate brings extensive payroll tax experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and hands-on tax return processing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years multi-state, multi-jurisdiction and high volume Payroll Tax experience.
• Minimum of two years of Supervisory/Manager experience.
• Hands-on tax return processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, federal, state and local wage laws.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit tax documents and filings (federal/state/local).
• Prepare tax planning reports and estimates of tax obligations.
• Provide leadership, direction and training to Supervisors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws and internal policies.
• Manage and update payroll tax systems and processes.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
