Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Specialist to bridge new divisions with our tax teams. You will gather information, analyze payroll tax data, and ensure timely, accurate liability payments, tax returns, and notices.

Candidates need multi-state payroll tax expertise, ability to interpret complex regulations, and project leadership to improve processes. CPP or FPC certification is preferred, and hands-on tax return processing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Three years multi-state payroll tax experience
• One year in senior/lead/supervisor role
• PEO or related industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of multi-state wage laws
• Hands-on tax return processing experience

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead projects to improve tax department processes for speed, quality, and efficiency
• Track and provide status updates, maintain project plans and monitor overall health
• Ensure projects meet deadlines
• Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects
• Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
• Other duties as assigned
