Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking a Payroll Tax Manager to develop and implement tax strategy and oversee all tax reporting. The role requires leadership, guidance, and training for Supervisors and staff, ensuring timely, compliant filings.

The candidate should have deep knowledge of multi-state payroll tax, and experience with tax planning, filings, and audits, along with strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex tax data across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of payroll tax concepts and regulations.
• Experience leading payroll tax teams and coordinating with management.
• Certification in CPP or FPC is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit federal, state, and local tax filings and extensions.
• Prepare tax planning reports and estimates of tax obligations.
• Provide leadership, direction and training to Supervisors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain payroll tax systems and processes; reduce discrepancies.
• Coach and evaluate team performance and manage workload.
