Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Sr Payroll Tax Specialist to bridge between new division partners and internal tax teams. This on-site role will ensure timely processing of liability payments, tax returns, and notices, while coordinating with payroll systems for bulk filings and ACH credits.

You will lead tax project efforts, monitor progress, and drive process improvements across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Multi-state payroll tax experience across jurisdictions.
• Hands-on tax return processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, federal, state and local wage laws.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve tax department efficiency and output.
• Track and report project status and health.
• Ensure deadlines are met for tax-related initiatives.
• Identify growth opportunities and initiate new projects.
• Optimize processes and overall approach where needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
