Job summary

CLA is hiring a Client Engagement Consultant for its Talent Solutions - HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) practice in the United States. You will build and maintain positive relationships with payroll implementation clients and serve as the main point of contact to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.

You will lead cross-functional teams through sales and implementation, manage client activities, and oversee timelines from discovery to go-live.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7 years payroll or HCMS experience required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree is required.
• Certifications: CPP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Technical competencies: Strong understanding of HCM/payroll; proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members, clients, and internal stakeholders through the entire sales and implementation process, including inbound marketing opportunities, discovery meetings, client demonstrations, and system setup.
• Manage new client activities related to payroll implementation.
• Oversee project handoff to payroll processing team.
• Manage project timeline and ensure milestones are met for on-schedule implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation.
• Document implementation processes and system customizations.
• Continuously improve implementation processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
