Job summary

CLA is hiring a Client Engagement Consultant for our Talent Solutions - HR Systems & Payroll practice. You will serve as the primary client contact, understanding needs, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver tailored payroll solutions.

You will lead end-to-end payroll implementations, manage client activities, and ensure on-time delivery with thorough documentation. CPP/PHR/SPHR preferred; 7 years payroll/HCM experience required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7 years payroll or HCMS experience required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Certifications: CPP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Technical: Strong understanding of HCM/payroll; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and stakeholders through sales and implementation processes.
• Manage new client activities related to payroll implementation.
• Oversee handoff to payroll processing team.
• Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Troubleshoot issues during implementation and document customizations.
• Improve implementation processes for efficiency and client satisfaction.
