Job summary

CLA is hiring a Client Engagement Consultant for our Talent Solutions - HR Systems & Payroll practice. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with payroll implementation clients, serving as the main point of contact to understand needs and deliver solutions.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies and implement systems that meet client objectives. Responsibilities include leading teams through the sales and implementation process, managing payroll

Qualifications

• 7 years payroll or HCMS experience required.
• Bachelor's degree is required; combinations may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• CPP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Strong understanding of HCM/payroll; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members, clients, and internal stakeholders through the sales and implementation process, including inbound marketing opportunities, discovery meetings, client demonstrations, and system setup.
• Manage new client activities related to payroll implementation.
• Oversee project handoff to payroll processing team.
• Manage project timeline to ensure milestones and on-time delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation.
• Document implementation processes and any system customizations.
• Continuously improve implementation processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
