Heidelberg Materials is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Bothell, WA team onsite. You will manage timekeeping data, keep employee records up to date, and support I-9 and E-Verify compliance in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will collaborate with supervisors and HR/Operations to resolve payroll issues, maintain data integrity, and deliver accurate, timely payroll services while protecting confidential information and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, and compliance processes.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
• Skilled at building partnerships and guiding supervisors on payroll matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS or payroll/timekeeping systems; strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication, problem solving, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and manage employee timekeeping data for payroll accuracy.
• Maintain employee records and process personnel changes with data integrity.
• Support I-9 and E-Verify activities and ensure compliance.
• Partner with supervisors to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
• Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
