Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a payroll client support specialist to provide direct consulting to payroll clients and maintain deep knowledge of payroll practices and laws. You will work under supervision, independently managing client relationships and escalating issues when needed.

You will review payroll data, process payrolls, prepare earnings reports, and ensure tax calculations and deposits are accurate. The role involves implementation support and training for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in payroll/billing
• Experience with ADP payroll systems desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients
• Review and process client payrolls, update records, and calculate bonuses or severance
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions
• Build trusted client relationships and maintain confidentiality of data
• Assist implementation teams and train clients on payroll processes
• Support new hires and share knowledge with team members
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and practices
