Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a payroll professional to provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients. Under supervision, you will manage client relationships, ensure accurate payroll processing, and escalate issues for timely resolution while maintaining confidentiality of employee data.

You will collaborate with implementation teams, train clients on payroll processes, and stay current on payroll laws and best practices to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately and professionally communicates with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their specific payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines, update employee records, calculate/paying bonuses or severance, review tax calculations, and reconcile payroll deposits and withholdings.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.
