Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Client Services Specialist to provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients. You will understand payroll deeply and stay updated on payroll practices and laws to serve clients effectively.

Under supervision, you will manage client relationships, escalate issues as needed, and collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing and timely deliverables across multiple clients.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines including bonuses or severance where applicable.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions and employer contributions.
• Establish strong client relationships by consulting on payroll matters.
• Provide technical software support and identify opportunities to expand services.
