Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Payroll Support professional to provide direct payroll consulting to clients. You will understand payroll deeply, stay current on laws, and independently manage client relationships under supervision as needed.

Responsibilities include processing payrolls, generating payroll reports, and supporting implementation teams. Strong ADP and MS Office skills are essential, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines—including updating employee records, calculating/paying bonuses or severance, reviewing tax calculations, and reconciling payroll deposits and withholdings.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.
• Establish strong and trusted client relationships by effectively consulting with clients on all payroll related matters.
• Manage new client implementation projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
