Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an experienced payroll support professional to provide direct consulting to payroll clients. You will understand payroll deeply and maintain knowledge of payroll practices and laws to deliver accurate service and information.

Under the Payroll Supervisor, you will independently manage client relationships, escalate issues when needed, and support implementation and training for clients on payroll processes and ADP platforms.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Independently manage client relationships under supervision, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure payroll information accuracy within each client system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls to meet client deadlines, update records, compute bonuses or severance, and reconcile deposits and withholdings.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
