Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Support Specialist to provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients. Under supervision, you will manage client relationships, ensure payroll data accuracy, and process payroll events.

You will maintain knowledge of payroll laws and support implementation teams when needed, while identifying opportunities to expand services. Strong ADP software and MS Office skills are preferred; detail-oriented and deadline-driven professionals thrive here.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Understand payroll in depth and stay updated on payroll laws.
• Manage client relationships under supervision, escalating issues when needed.
• Ensure client payroll information is accurate and reconcile discrepancies.
• Process payrolls to meet deadlines and prepare earnings/tax reports.
• Support implementation teams and train clients on payroll processes.
