Job summary

Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a payroll support professional to provide direct client consulting and payroll expertise. You will manage client relationships, ensure accurate payroll processing, and support implementation projects while training clients on payroll processes.

Under supervision, you will help maintain confidentiality, deliver timely payroll reports, and identify opportunities to expand services for clients across ADP platforms and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP payroll software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; communicates professionally with all levels.
• Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their specific payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines, including bonuses, tax calculations, and deposits reconciliation.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.
• Establish strong and trusted client relationships by effectively consulting on payroll matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and convey information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team and manage new client projects.
• Train clients on payroll processes and share knowledge with colleagues.
