Commercial Jet Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to compute and record earnings for approximately 300 employees, ensuring on-time bi-weekly pay.

The role spans coordination with accounting, HR, operations and managers to maintain accurate payroll processing for 300 employees and 100 contract labor personnel. Responsibilities include data compilation, time and attendance reconciliation, payroll posting and record keeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; AA/AS degree preferred.
• Four years of related experience including two years in clerical accounting.

Responsibilities

• Compiles payroll data including hours, taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Reconciles time and attendance data with billing clocks.
• Posts wages and maintains payroll records.
• Ensures payroll accuracy and processes corrections as needed.
• Resolves payroll questions from employees and managers.
• Coordinates with outside payroll services to ensure timely processing.
• Supports HR with rollout of new benefits and payroll changes.
• Prepares periodic management reports for leadership.
