Job summary

Commercial Jet, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to compute and record earnings for ~300 employees across 26 payroll periods annually, including ~100 contract workers.

The role reports to the VP Finance & Administration and collaborates with accounting, HR, and operations to ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of related experience (2 in clerical accounting), strong knowledge of payroll principles, and proficiency with ADP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Four years of related experience including two years of clerical accounting.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of payroll principles, regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Compile payroll data from time and attendance, taxes, deductions, and benefits.
• Reconcile time clocks with payroll records and ensure accuracy of postings.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Coordinate with HR, operations, and managers to implement payroll changes.
• Collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure timely processing of deliverables.
