Job summary

HBC Management Services is seeking a Payroll Specialist to assist the Payroll Administrator in processing bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for 1000+ employees across multiple states. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and tax compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, maintaining records, and partnering with HR for new hires and changes. Prior experience with Paylocity Web Pay and Time and Labor is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience processing multi-state payroll
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• CPP certification is a plus
• Experience processing bi-weekly payrolls with 1000+ employees
• Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements
• Experience with Paylocity Web Pay and Time and Labor is desirable

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for 1000+ employees across multiple states and organizations
• Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax laws and company policies
• Maintain payroll records, including garnishments and deductions
• Coordinate with HR for new hires, terminations, and wage updates
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
