Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Oklahoma City to process payroll for 300–500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. You’ll review timecards, handle deductions, and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on payroll experience with major systems (ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday), strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. Collaboration with HR and accounting is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally for 300–500 employees.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, overtime and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly or weekly payroll for 300–500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Review and verify timecards, hours worked, overtime, PTO, and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update changes related to pay, deductions, and direct deposit information.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other withholdings.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist with payroll-related journal entries and month-end processes.
• Ensure payroll records and processes comply with applicable federal and state regulations.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee information and payroll processing.

• Strong Excel, data entry, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential employee information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
