Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; AA/AS preferred.
• Minimum four years of related experience, including two in clerical accounting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, regulations and procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office, ADP payroll software and timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Compile payroll data, hours, taxes, and deductions for 26 pay periods per year.
• Reconcile time and attendance clocks with billing records.
• Post wages and maintain payroll records accurately.
• Correct payroll entries and analyze reports in coordination with managers.
• Resolve payroll questions from employees, managers, or outside agencies.
• Coordinate with external payroll services to ensure timely processing.
• Support HR with new benefits rollout and schedule maintenance.
