Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and maintain employee records with strict data integrity and confidentiality. The role includes supporting I-9 and E-Verify activities and partnering with supervisors to resolve payroll issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, and compliance processes with the ability to manage detailed information accurately.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Skilled at building partnerships and providing guidance to supervisors and employees on payroll-related matters.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems, with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication, problem solving, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in Bothell, WA, and operates in a dynamic office environment with regular collaboration across HR, Payroll, and Operations teams. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
